In the recent years Lake Balaton have changed. There are a lot of cultural programs, sport and leisure activities, culinary festivals for those who like quality entertainment. You can get the essence of Lake Balaton in Tihany. As the Hungarian sea is more than the bazaar stalls, the beach and the night clubs, Tihany is also more than its symbol: the Abbey. Tihany have been becoming a cultural centre step by step. It is the favourite place of those who are interested in theatrical performances, good wines, tasty foods. There is a community in the town that also wants to know what happens in Tihany and in the near villages.

That is why we decided to found this webpage. Our goal is not only to make a program guide that contains every event of the Tihany region, but it is a kind of a forum, where we call your attention to our own programs (PIACplacc, ARTplacc) and to those that we like.
